Xian Vicky has expertise in adjustment disorder, anxiety, depression, relationships, stress management, and anger issues. She has worked as a social worker supervisor in a city hospital and as a clinical social worker at a community-based health center in New York City. She provided crisis interventions and individual and family counseling to patients and their family members. She believes the healing process includes understanding every person on multiple levels, such as biology, psychology, emotions, and each unique life circumstance. She is also enthusiastic about teaching, supervising, and training young clinicians. She received training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Meaning-Centered psychotherapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). In addition, she has been certified in the Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI).
