I am a therapist who offers psychodynamic therapy, the Gottman Method, and emotional-focused approaches to couples therapy. I am a postgraduate fellow at the Karen Horney Clinic and a fellow at the Training Institute for Mental Health.
I have received institute training for intensive, short and long-term psychodynamic therapy for relational trauma and longstanding personality difficulties. I have experience integrating object relations, ego-psychological, self-psychological and relational approaches.
I am passionate about helping people outgrow psychological problems and the repetitive behaviors that suppress their ability to live fully and joyfully. I excel at treating young adults, working professionals and those undergoing life and career transitions. The basis of my clinical approach is developing a good working alliance with clients and taking the time to get to know them and their goals. My hope is that clients continue to experience themselves in new and richer ways and enjoy their lives and relationships more as a result.
My approach to care emphasizes listening, co-creating a safe space for exploration and insight, identifying any impediments to self-actualization and assisting clients in removing those impediments.
