Mackenzie is an MSW candidate at Columbia School of Social Work. Mackenzie specializes in Advanced Clinical Social Work, whose field of practice is health, mental health, and disabilities. Mackenzie studied economics at Barnard College and worked in finance before discovering her passion for the field of social work.Her previous experience includes working as a mental health technician and mental health counselor with young adults and teens.

Mackenzie has received formal training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and is familiar with other therapy modalities, such as CBT and ACT therapy. Mackenzie practices a client-centered approach to psychotherapy, where the client is the expert on their own life.
