Katherine "Katie" Welter attends New York University where she is studying to become a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Prior to pursuing her PMHNP Masters, she earned her Bachelor of Science from Villanova University in Nursing. Katie has worked in a variety of specializations as a nurse, such as labor and delivery, pain management, and ketamine infusions. She uses a person-centered and holistic approach in her care and strives to work collaboratively with clients to improve their mental health. Her experiences as a nurse have led her to an interest in reproductive psychiatry, women’s mental health, and helping those who struggle with chronic pain.
