I trained at Columbia University and practiced as a certified nurse midwife for 20 years prior to returning to Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing to become a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I specialize in reproductive psychiatry. Pregnancy, birth and parenting hold opportunities for great joy and growth but also, too often, trauma, isolation and pain. Depression, emptiness, anxiety, rage, scary thoughts, interpersonal issues. I will work with you on a treatment plan that matches your strengths and values, whether that means medication, therapy or a combination of the two. I aim to create a safe, judgment-free, and comfortable space where clients can find the tools they need to meet their mental health goals.
