Christina Maroone is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner specializing in medication management and psychotherapy. She received her PMHNP certificate from New York University and holds an MS from Hunter College, an MPA from Baruch College, and BS from Russell Sage College. Prior to joining RIVIA, Christina served as patient care director for inpatient psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia. She is currently pursuing her doctor of nursing practice degree at Yale and teaches as an adjunct clinical professor at NYU.

Christina creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment using a patient-centered approach to support patients experiencing a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and situational stressors. She holds a primary certificate in rational-emotive and cognitive behavioral therapy and thoughtfully uses this approach to support patients in creating positive changes. She believes that all people are capable and deserving of meaningful and fulfilling lives and works with patients toward these goals through personalized treatment plans.
