Beatriz holds a post-master certificate in Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati, OH. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Beatriz worked with adult and senior patients suffering from mood and personality disorders, among other mental illnesses. Beatriz uses concepts from Neuman’s Systems Model in addition to pharmacotherapy. This therapeutic approach Increases internal forces to counteract stressors to manage mental conflicts, improve self-concept, and promote new perspectives for a meaningful existence.
