Alexandra received her Master’s in Social Work from the New York University Silver School of Social Work. During her time at NYU, Alexandra completed her clinical internships at IVDU Boys’ School, a high school for Orthodox Jewish young men with developmental disabilities, and Bleuler Psychotherapy Center, an outpatient mental health clinic for children, adolescents, and adults. Alexandra has experience treating anxiety, depression, and panic disorder as well as personality disorders and eating disorders. Alexandra has the most commonly used skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Psychoanalytic theory in her practice. She is also trained in Trauma-Focused CBT. Alexandra has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She has worked in settings such as group homes, schools, and clinics. Alexandra takes a strengths-based and client-centered approach towards all clients in order to create a safe and nurturing environment for treatment.
