Here are some frequently asked insurance questions for your information.

We accept most major insurance plans, although individual coverage can vary. To confirm your benefits, please complete the insurance eligibility form.

A deductible is the amount of money you have to pay before the insurance company begins covering part or all of your medical expenses. Deductibles can vary greatly among insurance plans and types of service. Deductibles also reset every year. Typically, at the beginning of the calendar year, you would be responsible for the deductible before your insurance begins to cover part or all of your medical expenses. Please check with your insurance company to find out if you have a deductible and when it resets.

A co-payment is a set amount of payment that you may have to pay after you reach your deductible. You are responsible for this payment, and the rest of the bill is paid by your insurance. Co-payments can vary greatly among insurance plans, so be sure to check the amount for outpatient mental health services on your specific plan.

Co-insurance is a set percentage of the insured medical expenses that you may have to pay after you reach your deductible. It differs from co-payment as it is not a set amount, but is a percentage. For example, some plans share the cost by splitting between 80% insurance pay and 20% co-insurance paid by you.

Co-insurance can vary greatly among insurance plans and types of service. Please check with your insurance company to find out if you have co-insurance.

For out-of-network billing, payments are due at the time of your service, and you will receive a super-bill as a receipt, which includes all the information needed for your insurance company to process your claim for reimbursement.
