Deborah Mazza, Psychotherapy Supervisor
Deborah L. Mazza is a licensed clinical social worker with over 35 years’ experience. During her career Deborah has worked at Yale New Haven Hospital outpatient clinic, New Haven Family Counseling agency, as well as handled a private practice. She specializes in working with adults who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
Her practice is client centered and focuses on assisting her clients reach their goals. Deborah’s approach in her work uses CBT, DBT, cognitive processing therapy, narrative therapy and motivational interviewing. Her former clients have expressed a deep gratitude for the experience of being in treatment with her. She is respected by her colleagues and is often consulted for her expertise.

Tyler Parrott, Psychotherapy Supervisor
Tyler Parrott is a Midwest-raised, New York-tested psychotherapist specializing in life transitions, relationship issues, and the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. For the past decade I have devoted myself to the study and treatment of life’s most common problems, utilizing an integrative approach to meet the mental health needs of adults from all walks of life. Talking really does help! Together we will discover how to unlock your innermost potential, better navigate recurring issues and conflicts, and achieve personal fulfillment no matter what life chooses to throw at us next. Aysylu Mardanova, Therapist
Aysylu is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over ten years of experience in the field of psychotherapy. She received her Bachelors of Art Degree in Psychology from Long Island University and her Master of Social Work Degree from Fordham University.
Aysylu has experience working with individuals of various ages treating anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal/relationship issues, identity concerns, behavioral difficulties, eating disorders, ADHD, and adjustment issues. Aysylu has significant experience working with adults with socio-emotional challenges and development disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Asperger Syndrome (AD). Always working to meet the client’s preferences and needs, Aysylu integrates various treatment tools and ensures a safe, empathic and supportive environment for treatment.

Carol Deng, Therapist
Carol received her undergraduate degree in Human Services and minor in Psychology in 2017 from City University of New York. She obtained her Clinical Social Worker degree from The Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 2019. Carol is a bilingual and bicultural psychotherapist with a highly developed sensitivity and awareness of how to better work with individuals from diverse populations.
Carol utilizes combinations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, Solution Focused (Brief) Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, the Here and Now approach, motivational interviewing techniques, and mindfulness meditation. Carol has experiences working with young adults, adults, and the elderly. She specializes in depression, anxiety disorder, adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse disorder, grief and bereavement, and relational conflicts.

Alexandra Kagan, Therapist
Alexandra received her Master’s in Social Work from the New York University Silver School of Social Work. During her time at NYU, Alexandra completed her clinical internships at IVDU Boys’ School, a high school for Orthodox Jewish young men with developmental disabilities, and Bleuler Psychotherapy Center, an outpatient mental health clinic for children, adolescents, and adults.
Alexandra has experience treating anxiety, depression, and panic disorder as well as personality disorders and eating disorders. Alexandra has the most commonly used skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Psychoanalytic theory in her practice. She is also trained in Trauma-Focused CBT. Alexandra has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She has worked in settings such as group homes, schools, and clinics. Elsie Lin, Therapist
Elsie received her Master's in Social Work from New York University's Silver School of Social Work. She has years of experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, eating disorders, as well as different phobias. Elsie holds certifications in Exposure; Response Prevention (EX/RP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Elsie creates a safe and nonjudgmental space where her clients can explore vulnerabilities and strengths. As a bilingual psychotherapist, her therapeutic approach is both integrative and inclusive that she respects clients with different life experiences and cultural backgrounds.

Gyuseok Choi, Therapist
Gyuseok Choi, LMSW, received a Master in Social Work from Fordham University where he focused his studies on special education and clinical practices. Choi completed his clinical internship in Gouverneur Healthcare and Mental Health Association of NYC while dedicating his time volunteering in diverse community-based and working with young adults in school settings. Choi has been participating in case management and advocacy to promote quality services.
Choi has experience in psychotherapy and advocacy in IEP providing therapy to a variety of clients, including those who are diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, OCD, Anxiety, and Depression.

HyunHee "Hunny" Kang, Therapist
Hunny received a Master of Social Work degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work and Bachelor’s of Social Work from Adelphi University. With a background in medical and community social work with homeless and low-income individuals, as well as gerontology, Hunny brings awareness of how intersectional identities inform how we experience everyday life, and is committed to a multicultural approach to psychotherapy. Hunny holds certifications in complex trauma, grief, case management, and cognitive disorders in aging populations.
Hunny’s therapeutic approach is integrative, inclusive and flexible based on the unique life experience, goals, and needs of each individual. Josephine Suh, Therapist
Josie received her master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her clinical internship at the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia, where she provided psychotherapy for adolescent and adult clients experiencing trauma and traumatic bereavement. Josie has helped clients develop deeper and more compassionate insight into their emotional experiences, as well as the skills to manage trauma-related symptoms affecting their ability to thrive in school, work, and interpersonal relationships. Josie has experience supporting clients with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and complicated grief.
Josie’s therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, cultural humility, and authenticity. Katherine Budas, Therapist
Katherine is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the States of New York and Iowa. Katherine received her Master’s in Social Work from Stony Brook University. She specializes in substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, domestic violence and other abusive/toxic relationships, LGBTQ+ issues, codependency, parenting, anger management, life transitions, PTSD and other trauma-related disorders.
Katherine generally uses a strengths-based, person-centered approach to therapy. She encourages a collaborative therapeutic relationship, working together with her clients to assist them in gaining knowledge and deeper understanding of the struggles they face, as well as working toward resolutions. Kelly Doering, Therapist
Kelly received her Undergraduate Degree in Psychology from SUNY Oswego in 2017 and obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 2020. Throughout her graduate studies, she completed internships at both New York Presbyterian- Westchester Behavioral Health Center and at Hudson Valley Mental Health, gaining experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Kelly strives to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where the client feels empowered to achieve their goals. She has experience in treating adults who encounter Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, ADD/ADHD, OCD, family conflict and relationship challenges. Kelly’s approach is strength based and utilizes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. Kelly values a strong therapeutic relationship and will tailor treatment to meet individual needs.

Lingwei Wu, Therapist
Lingwei holds a Master of Social Work from New York University and has years of experience working with individuals struggling with mental health issues both in inpatient and outpatient settings. She creates a safe and therapeutic environment in which clients can safely explore emotions and vulnerabilities. She uses a strength-based approach to help individuals achieve their treatment goals utilizing their inner strength and resources. Lingwei incorporates different evidence-based techniques to match her patient’s unique needs including: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness practice and basic psychodynamic perspectives to treat most diagnoses including depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and stress.
Lingwei also has experience delivering therapy treatment in Mandarin. She values the nuance of language and the power of being able to express oneself in one’s mother tongue.

Luisa Moreno, Therapist
Luisa Moreno is a licensed master social worker who specializes in holistic health and energy healing. Luisa received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University and her Master of Social Work from Marywood University. She is a certified healing touch practitioner and an integrative nutrition health coach who is currently working on her Doctor of Philosophy in Holistic Medicine & Healing Nutrition from the University of Natural Health.
Being a holistic practitioner means Luisa takes a whole-body approach to help improve health and wellness through the body, mind, and soul. Luisa has experience working with clients undergoing various mental health difficulties, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma and stress-related issues. As an empath who specializes in holistic health, she believes in the importance of building therapeutic alliance in order to assist clients in creating harmony, balance and greater fulfillment in life. Luisa utilizes a wide variety of therapeutic tools and resources to accommodate patients on their journey, she will guide and support her patients in choosing methods that will empower them. Peter Flores, Therapist
Peter received his Master's in Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work with completed fellowships from the American Cancer Society and the NYU Zelda Foster MSW Fellowship in Palliative and End-of-Life Care, where he specialized in illness, grief, loss and bereavement. He also has direct clinical practice in treating depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, substance use disorders and L.G.B.T.Q.Q.I.A.+ issues.
