Clinicians in Training
Our nurse practioner students will be available to see patients for low-cost therapy sessions under the direction and supervision of our more experienced clinicians.
David received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CUNY York College and shortly after his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University. With a devoted interest in promoting greater access to mental health services and increasing mental health awareness, David is currently pursuing a Nurse Practitioner degree in Psychiatric Mental Health at NYU. He's volunteered with Mount Sinai Hospital’s psychiatric team in the delirium program and worked with many individuals in reducing stress with a mindfulness-based approach. For the past 2 years, he worked in Neurocritical care at Mount Sinai Hospital caring for vulnerable individuals that have experienced life-altering events. During his free time, David enjoys learning new meditative techniques and reading books written by psychoanalysts. He is seeking to increase his knowledge in the area of holistic practice helping people reach their most optimum state of functioning.

Duyen is currently a student in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner advanced certificate program at New York University. She received her Masters in Nursing and Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She has experience working with patients with anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and schizophrenia on inpatient psychiatric units. She believes in holistic, trauma-informed care, and will create a collaborative and safe space for you to heal.
Her hobbies include reading, watching sad movies, and throwing a frisbee around.
